Christine at Bilger's Gate - This gate is locked and only opened when someone is dismissed from the Academy from which they must exit. In the movie "Patriot Games" Harrison Ford is seen exiting the Yard through this gate just prior to the scene in which he is nearly killed by the IRA gunman. Christine has stood in the location on the street and remarked many times - Jack Ryan was here ! Bilge is the waste water pumped out of a ship where seepage has collected, therefore, exiting thru Bilger's Gate is seen as a mark of shame and dishonor.
